analyse and store information; produce and present meaningful information
(reports, posters, presentations and websites); and use ICT to plan, research,
analyse and present information through a project.

When
coursework is due to be handed in:
There
is one e-portfolio for the AIDA and two e-portfolios for the CIDA. These are
done in class under exam conditions (30 hours each) and have to be completed by
May of the final year of the course, for marking by the teacher.
Some
tips for producing good coursework:
Ø
All
lessons are an opportunity to learn and practise the skills needed for the
e-portfolio. If you are absent, ask what was missed and catch up as soon as
possible.
Ø
Keep
up-to-date. If work set in class is not completed, do it for homework.
Ø
If
you do not understand what you should do, ask your friends or the teacher.
Ø
Be
organised. Keep your work in suitable folders on the network. Keep backup
copies.
How
parents can support their son/daughter with coursework:
Ø
Help
students to take work home via USB memory device, CD or email so that they can
work on a PC at home.
Ø
Ensure
that students know how to find and use the examination board website http://dida.edexcel.org.uk/home/
Ø
Promote
well-organised use of a computer at home for all homework.
