2008 commemorates the 50th anniversary of Stokesley School and in the light of this important milestone the Governing Body, together with the PTA, are planning a number of activities and events to properly celebrate and enjoy the year.
A small group from the governing body, supported by the PTA, has been set up to devise and implement a host of attractions to capture the imagination of pupils past and present or anyone who has an interest in the school and its surrounding area. As you can imagine the possibilities could be endless and the plan is to seek as much support and participation as possible - that means you and anyone else you can think of; we can't do it all!

What we need from you:

• Contact from you via e-mail. Click here
• Any ideas as to what you would like to see as an event - no idea is too silly but we may not be able to do everything.
• Any interesting stories about the school or any past or present pupils? Maybe you know of past pupils who have gone on to fame and fortune
• Any interesting photographs we could use.
• Contact with any past pupils or Stokesley residents who are either no longer in the area or who may not see this web site and who may have a contribution to make.
• Volunteers to help with the activities or events – whatever you can do.

Although the Golden Anniversary is a key event in itself, we don't want the year to just come and go. We would like to use the activities and events as the catalyst for ongoing participation between the school, its pupils and staff and the wider community.
Remember, if you get involved now, you could have a lasting impression on Stokesley School and its future pupils.
