I have been a Social Worker within Redcar and Cleveland Children’s Services for 14 years. During this time, I have worked with vulnerable children and families, ensuring children are not being placed at risk of harm and ensuring children and families are getting the necessary support. For the past 4 years, I have worked with Children in Care, and have gained extensive knowledge of being a corporate parent and of the role that schools play within this. I feel it is important that children and young people are given the correct opportunities and guidance to promote positive outcomes. I am passionate about young people receiving a good education and I would like to bring my knowledge and experience to the LGB and support the school in helping children to be the best they can be. I currently have two children at Stokesley School, Year 9 and Year 7. In my spare time I enjoy walking my dog!
