Tees Valley Youth OrchestraPosted on: 13th, July 2017 in: General,
Talented students and former students of Stokesley School are very well represented in Tees Valley Youth Orchestra. Musicians from the region, who have achieved Grade 5 and above come together on a weekly basis to rehearse.
They have embarked upon foreign tours and performed concerts for their supporters at a variety of venues. The musical and social benefits from belonging to such an ensemble are invaluable. (Indeed Miss Hall was once a member of the orchestra under its previous name of Cleveland Youth Orchestra The breadth of music tackled widens the students’ appreciation and understanding, as well as broadening their musicianship, allowing them the opportunity to develop their instrumental skills and to develop in confidence as performers.
