Record GCSE Results – and in the year when tougher examinations were introduced: congratulations to our amazing students!

88% of students achieved the new 4-9 GCSE grades in English and 87% in Maths, with 80% of all students securing passes in both subjects (equivalent to previous A*-C grades) – a great result!

More than 20% of the entire year group achieved top A-A* / Grades 7-9 in 8 or more subjects: 17 of them in 10 or more subjects, with 10 students achieving the highest A* / Grades 8-9 in 8 or more subjects. Special congratulations to Phoebe Douglas who earned herself 8 A* grades and Grade 9 in both English and Maths.

An amazing 54% of our students achieved the English Baccalaureate, far exceeding national averages for this key measure of all round success in academic subjects.

Overall 33% of all grades awarded were at A-A* / 7-9 with 58% of all students achieving the highest grade in at least one of their subjects. More thanhalf of all grades were at Grade B and above.

“Well done to all our wonderful students and hard-working teachers!” Mrs Brooker
