Shoeboxes for the homeless

Over the past month, students in Yr 7 and 8 have been gathering items to fill shoeboxes for the homeless. In conjunction with the Sikh Community in Middlesbrough, they managed to fill over 80 male and female boxes, which consisted of items such as gloves, toothbrushes, scarves, socks and other goodies. Last Sunday some students, along with parents and staff volunteered to help hand the shoeboxes out at the soup kitchen in Middlesbrough. They served food and hot drinks in what was a very cold night and all came away being thankful for what they have.
