The Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the Year Competition
28 February 2020 | Darren Smith
Dog agility is an action-packed and hugely exciting sport for you and your dog. It involves loads of obstacles for your dog (not you!) to run through, jump over, and weave in and out of – and all against the clock!
The Young Kennel Club (YKC) Agility Dog of the Year competition is the YKC’s flagship agility event. Those who qualify will go forward to the semi-final held at Crufts in the YKC ring. The semi-final will decide the 18 dogs that will qualify for the YKC Agility Dog of the Year final, held in the Main Arena at Crufts. To Qualify for Crufts, members must gain points by being placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in YKC Agility dog of the Year qualifying events.
Katie in Yr 7 has qualified for both the agility dog of the year and the pairs this year! We wish her and her dog the best of luck!
