Extra-Curricular Opportunities

At Stokesley Sixth Form we are passionate about developing well-rounded individuals who achieve well academically but are also confident within a range of different situations as well as being socially responsible. We know that lots of our students take part in extra-curricular activities outside of college, but want to make sure that we’re also giving them the full range of opportunities whilst they’re with us.

Our extensive extra-curricular activities offer is also available to our sixth form students who enjoy participating in the many activities on offer, in fact many help run clubs themselves on subjects they are interested in. To look through the extra curricular activities on offer, please have a look at the documents below:

Students also benefit from discounted membership to Stokesley Leisure Centre, which is adjacent to the Sixth Form Centre. Here, students have access to the gym, swimming pool and squash courts.

As well as being able to take part in these activities, we also run a sixth form service which is a significant opportunity for our students, and what makes being a school sixth form such an advantage. Students volunteer in classrooms, in the library, in the canteen at lunch and more, helping our younger students to be the best they can be and helping our school to function at its best.
